The company was the first one in the Flemish public sector to have a communication strategy for social media.;

On the same wavelength with Ghent
For Ghent we created the website Op één lijn met Gent. We receive information of infrastructure works from different sources and integrate them in one system, which links everything with each other. Besides the current promos you can look for a particular infrastructure work and the consequences. Love to visit a tourist hotspot or an event in Ghent? Discover which bus or tram will bring you back and forth smooth and safely. If there are any detours on the way, De Lijn suggests alternatives.
For each infrastructure work you can look up every affected street, line, hotspot, … on a specia Google Maps. We also integrated the real time route planner – which De Lijn developed itself – with an API into the website.

Inquiry Night Track Ghent
Looking for a ride home after a nice evening in Ghent? De Lijn takes care of that seven days a week ‘till one o’clock in the morning. Awesome, right? And because a good service responds to the needs of its customers De Lijn decided to launch an online inquiry.
We made sure everything ran smoothly both front and back-end. We collected all the answers in a clear overview the employees of De Lijn could consult in the CMS.
